Board of Directors

Generation Fearless is seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors. If you are committed to making a difference, have expertise or experience that can contribute to our cause, and are willing to be an active participant in guiding our organization's strategic direction, we would love to hear from you. Join us in building a brighter future for first-generation women everywhere.

​This committee will meet at least six times per year – in January, March,  May, July, September and November.

Advisory Committee

Generation Fearless is seeking passionate individuals to join our Advisory Committee.

 

The Advisory Committee is created as a standing committee for the purpose of working with Generation Fearless Board of Directors. The committee shall limit its activities to advising on matters that directly concern the organization's programs and fundraising efforts. The Committee shall have no legal responsibilities and is formed to give advice and recommendations to the board and management. It cannot compel the board or staff to act on its recommendations or feedback.

This committee will meet at least four times per year via Zoom.

Volunteer Opportunities 

Generation Fearless is seeking passionate, mission-driven individuals to support our work in empowering first-generation women. Whether you're looking to gain experience, give back, or expand your network, we offer meaningful volunteer roles that directly impact our community.

Social Media & Digital Engagement Volunteer

  • Manage and create engaging content for Generation Fearless’ social media platforms.

  • Interact with our community through comments, messages, and shares.

  • Track analytics and trends to enhance digital outreach and engagement.

 

 Legal & Compliance Volunteer

  • Assist with nonprofit compliance, contracts, and legal documentation.

  • Support research on policies related to nonprofit governance and best practices.

  • Ensure Generation Fearless adheres to local, state, and federal regulations.

Grant Research Volunteer

  • Identify potential grants and funding opportunities to support our mission.

  • Assist in writing grant proposals.

  • Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and philanthropic organizations

 

​Health & Wellness Program Volunteer (Physical Health Focus)

  • Organize fitness activities such as group workouts, yoga sessions, and wellness initiatives.

  • Partner with healthcare professionals to share resources on nutrition, preventative care, and physical well-being.

  • Help coordinate health screenings, wellness fairs, and fitness-based community events.

 

Immigration Advocacy & Resource Volunteer

  • Research immigration policies and develop resource guides for first-generation individuals.

  • Assist with community workshops on navigating visas, DACA, work permits, and citizenship.

  • Connect individuals with legal aid and support services tailored to immigrant needs.

Marketing & Communications Intern

Generation Fearless seeks a dynamic self-starter to support and contribute to the organization’s marketing and communications efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working for a small, growing nonprofit organization and take the lead on small projects.
